CHAI is a 24-year-old singer-songwriter, half Moroccan and half Sudanese, now based in Toronto. She's known for crafting raw, emotionally charged music with an early 2000s pop-rock edge. Her upcoming releases, recorded in New York City with producer David Schoenwetter, are shaping a sound that blends nostalgia with modern storytelling.

Her artistry is deeply rooted in country storytelling, having looked up to legends like Dolly Parton and Shania Twain, while also infusing pop influences inspired by Michael Jackson. This unique blend allows CHAI to craft music that is both heartfelt and infectious, bridging genres with authenticity.

Beyond her own artistry, CHAI has written songs for other artists under Grammy-nominated producer Roy Hamilton, founder of Singers Company, and has also published a book, Songs Scrapped, a collection of poetry and song lyrics that captures her creative journey. She has also been a part of Sound Stock Academy, further refining her craft and industry knowledge.

Having previously toured across Canada with DREAMMORE STUDIO, CHAI is building a sound and story that resonates with audiences who crave authenticity. Whether in the studio, on stage, or on the page, her work is a testament to vulnerability, resilience, and the power of self-expression.
